Privacy Policy

Your photo library stays yours.

Cullora is built to clean up your photo library privately. It requires no Cullora account and uses no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated media server.

01

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Cullora iOS app (bundle identifier com.ios.cullora), provided by Fuzhou Buwan Technology Co., Ltd. (“Cullora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

02

Data we collect

We do not collect personal data from the Cullora app. Cullora has no app account, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or developer-operated backend. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

03

Photos and videos

If you grant photo-library access, Cullora uses Apple’s PhotoKit framework to read media metadata and request small thumbnails needed to find similar photos, screenshots, and large videos. This analysis happens on your device.

Cullora does not upload your photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, photo identifiers, or similarity fingerprints to us. Your originals remain in Apple Photos.

04

Deletion and iCloud Photos

Cullora asks Apple Photos to delete media only after you select items and confirm. If iCloud Photos is enabled, Apple may synchronize your library and deletions across devices under your Apple Account. Deleted media is normally available in Apple Photos’ Recently Deleted album for up to 30 days, subject to Apple’s behavior and your actions.

05

Small app data and private iCloud storage

Cullora stores onboarding state and certain settings locally. Cleanup counts, estimated bytes freed, free-tier usage, and the last-cleanup date may be stored in Apple’s private iCloud Key-Value Store so they can follow devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

This small app data does not include media, thumbnails, filenames, photo identifiers, perceptual hashes, contacts, email content, or location history. We do not operate a server that receives this data.

06

Purchases

Apple processes Cullora subscriptions and lifetime purchases through StoreKit. Cullora receives verified product and entitlement status but does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple’s handling of purchases is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

07

Diagnostics provided by Apple

Apple may provide us with aggregated sales information and diagnostic or crash information through App Store Connect and Xcode, subject to Apple’s systems and your device privacy settings. Cullora itself does not include a developer-operated analytics service.

08

Retention and your choices

Scan results are held in app memory and rebuilt after relaunch. Cullora Settings lets you reset synced cleanup totals. Free-tier usage is retained separately to enforce the one-time allowance. You can manage Photos and iCloud access in Apple Settings, remove local app settings by deleting Cullora, and manage deleted media in Apple Photos.

09

Children

Cullora is a general-audience utility. It does not request a name, email address, date of birth, or other Cullora account information from children.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Cullora’s features or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy and revise the effective date. If a future release adds a new data practice, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before release.
