1. Scope and provider

This Privacy Policy explains how Fuzhou Buwan Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use PDF Scanner (the "App") or contact us for support.

2. Information processed by the App

The App processes the content you choose on your device. This may include PDFs, camera scans, photos, videos, annotations, signatures, document passwords, print jobs, and text recognized with on-device OCR.

3. Device permissions

The App requests access only when needed for a feature you choose:

• Camera: to scan paper documents with your device camera.
• Photos: to import photos or videos you select for PDF creation, printing, or authorized media processing.
• Files and iCloud Drive: to import, save, and synchronize documents at your direction.
• Local Network: to discover and communicate directly with compatible printers and AirScan/eSCL scanners on your network.

You can review or revoke permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

4. Apple services and destinations you choose

iCloud Drive

When iCloud Drive is available and enabled, Apple stores and synchronizes documents in the App's iCloud container through your Apple Account. If iCloud Drive is unavailable, the App uses local device storage. We do not receive a separate server copy.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and lifetime purchases through StoreKit. Apple handles payment credentials. The App receives purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock features, but we do not receive your full payment-card details.

Sharing and AirPrint

When you share or print a file, content is sent only to the person, app, service, or compatible printer you select. That destination handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Local network scanning

When you choose a compatible AirScan/eSCL scanner, requests and scanned pages travel directly between the selected scanner and your device over the local network. They are not routed through a server operated by us.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

Locally stored content remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App, subject to device backups. Content stored in iCloud remains there until you delete it through the App, Files, or iCloud, subject to Apple's synchronization and retention practices.

Because we do not operate an account system or document-upload service, we do not hold an account or document archive for you. You control deletion of files stored on your device and in your iCloud account.

6. Support communications and this website

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and email metadata you choose to provide. We use them only to respond, investigate an issue, protect the App, or comply with law, and retain them only as reasonably necessary.

This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. A hosting provider may automatically process standard connection information, such as IP address, request time, and browser headers, to deliver and secure the site.

7. Security, children, and international use

The App relies on protections provided by iOS and iPadOS. No storage method is completely secure, so you should protect your device, Apple Account, backups, document passwords, and exported files.

The App is a general-purpose productivity utility. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children or other users through the App.

We do not transfer App content to developer-operated servers. Apple or another service you deliberately select may process information in other regions under its own privacy policy.

8. Your choices and rights

• Choose whether to use iCloud Drive or local storage through your Apple device settings.
• Grant, limit, or revoke device permissions in Settings.
• Choose where documents are shared or printed.
• Delete documents through the App, Files, or iCloud.
• Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.
• Ask us to delete support correspondence unless retention is legally required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, our practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
