1. Agreement and license
PDF Scanner (the "App") is provided by Fuzhou Buwan Technology Co., Ltd. These Terms govern your use of the App. By downloading or using it, you agree to these Terms and the applicable App Store terms.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.
2. Your documents and permitted use
You retain ownership of documents, scans, photos, videos, signatures, and other content you use with the App. You are responsible for that content, appropriate backups, and all rights or permissions needed to scan, copy, edit, annotate, sign, protect, share, print, or modify it.
You may not use the App to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, alter records fraudulently, bypass access controls, misrepresent a signature, violate law, or harm another person. A signature created in the App is a visible annotation, not a certificate-backed digital signature.
3. Watermark and media tools
Watermark and media tools are intended only for content you own or are authorized to modify. The App can remove supported PDF watermark annotations but cannot reconstruct artwork or pixels hidden by a flattened watermark. Photo and video cleanup changes only the selected region using the chosen effect.
4. Free and Pro features
Some features are available without purchase. PDF Scanner Pro may be offered through auto-renewable monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscriptions and through a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store displays the localized price, billing period, and terms before confirmation.
Apple processes purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account under Apple's terms. Restore Purchases can restore eligible purchases made with the same Apple Account.
A lifetime purchase unlocks the Pro tools included in that product for the supported life of the App. It does not promise that every future product, platform, or separately offered service will be included without charge.
5. Storage and third-party services
The App processes document work on your device. If iCloud Drive is enabled and available, Apple may store and synchronize documents through your Apple Account; otherwise the App uses local storage. Files providers, sharing destinations, AirPrint, and local network scanners are services or destinations you choose and may be governed by separate terms.
6. Availability and compatibility
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, compatibility, maintenance, or product development. We do not guarantee that every printer, scanner, file, operating-system version, or external service will be compatible.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that OCR, compression, conversion, annotation, signature, watermark, or media results will meet every purpose. Review important output before relying on, sharing, or printing it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the App.
8. Termination and changes
You may stop using the App at any time. We may limit access if you materially violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. We may update these Terms when the App, business, or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear here with a revised effective date.
9. Apple minimum terms
These Terms are between you and Fuzhou Buwan Technology Co., Ltd., not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce applicable provisions upon your acceptance.
